WHERE DO WE GET YOUR PERSONAL DATA FROM?

First of all, we obtain your personal data from you. You provide us with your data when registering on our website (on www.uniqskills.com) or by subscribing to the newsletter. Additional personal data, for example your address or your VAT number, we obtain from you in connection with the sale of publications, software or training through our website. Your data is also obtained in relation to your complaints and within your contact with us via the Customer Service Office. f) if you contact us to ask a question about how we run the website, how to carry out certain activities, we collect your questions and data related to it and we answer with a reference to the reasonable interest that we have in order to provide our clients and users with full of information and provide them with positive experiences of working with our website;

g) all of your data, which we have as a data controller, we also process for marketing purposes under the so-called reasonable personal data administrator's interest. HOW LONG DO WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA??

The period for which we process your personal data depends on the purpose of processing. Therefore:

a) registration in our website - for the period you are registered - until you unsubscribe from the website; after this period, your data will be processed for purposes related to the accountability of our activities, for which we are obliged by the provisions on the protection of personal data and the period of limitation of your claims, but not longer than 10 years;

b) consent to receive marketing messages by e-mail or telephone - until you withdraw your consent; after this period, your data will be processed for purposes related to the accountability of our activities, for which we are obliged by the provisions on the protection of personal data and the period of limitation of your claims, but not longer than 10 years;

c) sales purposes - for the duration of the contract; after this period, your data will be processed for purposes related to the accountability of our activities, for which we are obliged by the provisions on the protection of personal data and the period of limitation of your claims, but not longer than 5 years;

d) answering questions - if you are a registered user of the website - for the time referred to in point a) above; if you are not a registered user of the website, for the time necessary to provide the necessary explanations and answers;

e) data obtained on how you use our services (via cookies) and data processed in our marketing database - throughout the period when you are our client and later for 5 years from the time when you stopped being our customer (you stopped using it) from the services we provide and you did not make purchases in our stores).

WHO IS A RECEIVER OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We transfer your data only when it is necessary to perform the services that you order. We do not sell your data, we do not commercially share your data with third parties.

We may entrust your personal data to our business partners:

a) transport companies - in order to deliver the purchased goods to the address indicated by you in the order;

b) companies that provide us with the services of delivery and maintenance of database software, through which we can run our service, send marketing messages by e-mail or telephone and relevant sales records, etc.

c) marketing agencies that help us understand what our clients are interested in, that help us create interesting offers, promotions and help us with ongoing communication with our clients, including you.

For each of these purposes, we only provide data that is necessary to achieve it. We would like you to know that wherever possible we use tools of anonymisation or pseudonymisation, that is, activities that make it impossible for our partners and subcontractors to remain identified, and where we have your data all the time.

In the case of payment transactions, in relation to the purchases you make, your personal data necessary to make the payment are made available to the intermediary in the payment, i.e. Dotpay or PayU payment system.

We process personal data in accordance with applicable law, in particular in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Data and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

We process only data that is necessary to achieve a given processing purpose; for each process we have carried out an analysis of the fulfillment of this rule.

You should have full knowledge of what is happening to your data. By this document we try to provide you with full information about the rules of processing your personal data by us.

c) Regularity rule

d) Integrity and confidentiality rule 

We apply the necessary measures to safeguard the confidentiality and integrity of your personal data. We are constantly improving them, along with the changing environment and technological progress. Security measures include physical and technological measures restricting access to your data, as well as appropriate safeguards against the loss of your data.

We want to be able to account for each of our actions on personal data, so that in case of your inquiry, we can give you full and reliable information about what actions we have carried out on your data. 

WHAT CONSENTS WE COLLECT?

As part of our daily practice, we collect the following consents from users of our website and from our clients:

a) consent to communicate with you by e-mail or telephone for marketing purposes - includes information about product news, our offers, discounts and promotional campaigns. You can express this consent as part of setting up an account on the website by completing the registration form available at www.uniqskills.com;

b) consent to share your data with our partners if you express interest in their offer or mutual cooperation.

Expressing consent is voluntary and we do not make the use of the website or the purchase of products or services conditional upon its expression by you.

Remember that the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing, which was made on the basis of consent before its withdrawal

 

WHAR ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

The personal data protection law gives you a number of rights that you can exercise at any time. Unless you abuse these rights (e.g. unreasonable daily requests for information), exercising them will be free for you and should be easy to implement.

a) The right of access to the content of your personal data 

This law means that you can ask us to export from our databases the information we have about you and send it to you in one of the commonly used formats (e.g. XLSX, DOCX, etc.).

b) The right to correct the data 

If you find out that the data processed by us is incorrect, you have the right to ask us to correct it and we will be obliged to do so. In this case, we have the right to ask you for a document or proof of change.

c) The right to limit data processing 

If, despite the fact that we adhere to the adequacy rule, which we write about in the section "How we process personal data", you will find that for a specific purpose we process a too wide catalog of your personal data, you have the right to request that we limit this scope of processing. Unless your request is against the requirements imposed on us by applicable law, or it is not necessary for the performance of the agreement, we will accept your request.

d) The right to demand the deletion of data 

This right, also known as the right to be forgotten, means your right to demand that we remove any information that contains your personal information from our database systems and our records. Remember that we will not be able to do this if, under the law, we have the obligation to process your data (e.g. transaction documents for tax purposes, warranty obligation, obligation to ensure the accountability of our activities). In any case, we will delete your personal data to the fullest extent possible, and where it is not possible we will ensure their pseudonymisation (which means that the data subject cannot be identified without a relevant key), allowing your data to be kept in line with applicable law, will be available only to a very limited group of people in our organization.

e) The right to transfer data to another data administrator 

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you can ask us to export the data you have provided to us in the course of all our contacts and all cooperation to a separate file for further transfer to another data administrator.

WHAT IS RIGHT TO OBJECT?

We would like to inform you separately that you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

You exercise the right to object when you do not want us to process your personal data for a specific purpose (e.g. for marketing purposes). In this case, we will continue to process your data for other processes (for other purposes), but not for the purpose for which you objected.
